Treatment of inflammation and pain relief for chronic polyarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
This medication is used for the treatment of inflammatory joint diseases such as chronic polyarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. It also helps relieve pain and inflammation caused by osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. It is effective for pain and swelling due to trauma or postoperative complications. Additionally, it supports recovery by assisting in the treatment of infections accompanied by inflammation, pain, and fever. It is widely used for various inflammatory diseases and pain relief.
Take 300 mg of dexibuprofen orally 2 to 4 times a day. However, do not exceed 1,200 mg of dexibuprofen per day.
This drug should be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist before use by individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks a day. Taking this medication while in a state of heavy alcohol consumption may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. This drug can affect the cardiovascular system, so individuals at risk for heart disease or stroke should exercise special caution. Those with cardiovascular disease or risk factors should closely monitor for any cardiovascular symptoms while taking this medication. Additionally, this drug can cause serious gastrointestinal issues such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations, so elderly patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal disorders should take special care. If abnormal symptoms occur while taking the medication, consult a physician immediately. Patients with gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, severe liver or kidney disease, severe heart failure, high blood pressure, and those with allergies to this drug or similar medications should not take this medication. It is advisable not to use this drug in conjunction with aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs while taking it. Concurrent use of such medications can increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding and may reduce the drug's effectiveness. While taking this medication, avoid breastfeeding, and be cautious of dizziness or fatigue which may occur, especially when driving or operating machinery. Long-term high-dose use may lead to headaches. Patients with blood disorders, liver or kidney disease history, those at risk for hypertension or cardiovascular disease, elderly individuals, and children (6 years and older) should consult healthcare professionals before taking this medication. This drug may interact with various medications; therefore, inform your doctor or pharmacist about any medications currently being taken, particularly anticoagulants, diuretics, lithium, immunosuppressants, and antithrombotic agents. If symptoms of shock, severe skin rash, difficulty breathing, abnormal liver function, severe gastrointestinal symptoms, or blood abnormalities occur while taking this drug, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a healthcare professional. This medication helps alleviate symptoms, but it is not a treatment for the underlying cause. It is important to take the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration and to undergo regular blood tests as well as liver and kidney function tests. Especially after the sixth month of pregnancy, it should be avoided as it may affect the fetus, and it is important to consult healthcare professionals if planning to become pregnant or currently pregnant. In case of overdose, seek treatment immediately even if no symptoms are present, and keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor, severe rash with high fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in mucous membranes of mouth/eyes, severe skin reactions, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attacks, respiratory abnormalities with cough and fever, yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy, liver abnormalities (jaundice), sudden and severe headache, thunderclap headache.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
Do not take this medication with aspirin, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or high-dose methotrexate (more than 15 mg/week) used for chemotherapy. Additionally, caution is needed when taking this drug with corticosteroids, alcohol, digoxin, phenytoin, probenecid, sulfinpyrazone, sulfonylureas, ACE inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor antagonists, diuretics, lithium, coumarin anticoagulants (such as warfarin), baclofen, and immunosuppressants.
This medication may be sensitive to air and moisture, so it should be stored in a tightly sealed container. The storage temperature should be maintained between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius to preserve the drug's efficacy and safety.
