This medication is used as an adjunctive treatment for chronic liver diseases, cirrhosis, and toxic liver disease.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

The adult dosage is 1 capsule per dose, taken 3 times a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to soybean oil or have experienced hypersensitivity. People allergic to soybeans or peanuts should also avoid this medication. Patients with severe bile duct obstruction and children under 12 years old should not use this medication. It is important not to take this medication together with levodopa. Taking both medications together may reduce the effectiveness of levodopa. Patients with lipid metabolism disorders such as hyperlipoproteinemia or diabetic hyperlipidemia, pancreatitis should consult with a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. Especially for patients at risk of lipid overload, regular monitoring of blood lipid levels and dosage adjustments are necessary. Additionally, when administering other lipid agents intravenously, the dosage of other lipid agents should be reduced based on the fat content included in this medication. Women who are pregnant, may become pregnant, or are breastfeeding should also consult a specialist before taking this medication. Animal studies have shown no risks to the fetus, but there is insufficient research on pregnant women. If any adverse reactions occur while taking this medication, discontinue immediately and consult a physician or pharmacist. If symptoms do not improve after about one month of use, stop taking the medication and consult a specialist. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed method and dosage, and kept out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, and keep the lid tightly closed to maintain sealing. Additionally, it is important not to transfer to another container to maintain quality.
