Treatment of chronic polyarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis (arthrosis, ankylosing spondylitis)
This medication is used for conditions that cause inflammation in multiple joints, such as chronic polyarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis, arthrosis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It also helps alleviate painful swelling and inflammation that occurs after trauma or surgery. In addition, it assists in treating infections along with inflammation, pain, and fever. In other words, it is effective in improving various joint diseases and inflammation-related symptoms.
Adults: Oral administration of 300 mg of dexibuprofen once, 2 to 4 times a day. However, the total daily dose of dexibuprofen should not exceed 1,200 mg.
People who regularly consume more than 3 glasses of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. This medication may cause gastrointestinal bleeding, so caution is necessary. Individuals with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors may have an increased risk of myocardial infarction and stroke when taking this medication, and should be cautious. Furthermore, if cardiovascular symptoms develop while on this medication, one should consult a doctor immediately. Serious gastrointestinal issues, such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations, can occur, so those with a history of gastrointestinal disease should avoid taking it. Elderly individuals have a higher risk of gastrointestinal adverse reactions and should be particularly careful. If gastrointestinal symptoms or signs of bleeding appear, one should immediately stop taking the medication and consult a healthcare professional. It is advisable not to take this medication in conjunction with aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, as the risk of side effects may increase with combined use. It is especially important to take caution if using high doses of methotrexate, as this may pose risks when combined with this medication. During the use of this medication, breastfeeding should be discontinued, or the medication should be stopped, as dizziness or fatigue may occur when driving or operating machinery. If headaches persist or worsen, dosage adjustment or consultation with a doctor is necessary. Individuals with blood disorders, liver or kidney diseases, high blood pressure, heart failure, or a history of allergies should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Particularly after six months of pregnancy, it should not be taken as it may pose risks to the fetus. If any adverse reactions or allergic symptoms occur while taking this medication, it should be stopped immediately, and a healthcare professional should be consulted. Regular blood tests and liver and kidney function tests are necessary during long-term use, and the medication should be discontinued if any abnormal signs occur. This medication is used to relieve symptoms and does not treat the underlying cause, thus it should be used for the minimum duration necessary for therapeutic purposes. Children, elderly individuals, and those with chronic diseases need to be more cautious when taking this medication and should do so under a doctor's guidance. In case of overdose, one should immediately visit a medical institution for appropriate treatment. This medication should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and kept out of the reach of children.
Hives, severe swelling, chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor, anaphylactic shock, severe skin reactions (erythema multiforme, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, DRESS syndrome, AGEP), skin and mucous membrane syndrome, blood disorders (aplastic anemia, hemolytic anemia, agranulocytosis, leukopenia, agranulocytosis, pancytopenia, thrombocytopenia, platelet dysfunction), severe respiratory issues.

Do not take this medication alongside aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Additionally, do not take it with high doses (over 15 mg/week) of methotrexate used for chemotherapy.
This medication may be sensitive to air or moisture, so it should be stored in a tightly closed container. The storage temperature should be maintained at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius. This will help maintain the medication's effectiveness for an extended period.
