In children, it is also used to alleviate habitual vomiting and constipation or diarrhea due to non-infectious bowel obstruction. How to take

Adult dose

As trimebutine maleate, take 100-200 mg orally three times a day before meals. Adjust according to age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication may rarely cause gastrointestinal problems such as constipation or diarrhea after administration. Additionally, one may experience gurgling sounds in the intestines, nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia, dryness of the mouth, or a numb feeling in the mouth. Symptoms like palpitations may also be experienced rarely. Mentally, fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness, lethargy, and headaches may occur, so caution is needed. It may affect liver function and increase liver enzyme levels, so those with liver health issues should take special care.
