Relief of musculoskeletal disorders (including myalgia and arthritis) and post-traumatic swelling and pain
This medication is used to relieve various joint and tendon diseases such as degenerative arthritis, adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder), tendinitis, and lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow), as well as muscle pain, post-traumatic swelling, and pain. It helps reduce pain and inflammation caused by these symptoms, improving discomfort in daily life. Therefore, it is effective for several conditions that require pain and inflammation relief.
Peel off the release liner from the adhesive surface and apply to the affected area twice daily.
This medication contains the ingredient flurbiprofen and is primarily used to relieve inflammation and pain. However, it should not be used by individuals who are hypersensitive to this medication or have had allergic reactions to drugs similar to flurbiprofen. Patients with a history of asthma attacks, known as aspirin-induced asthma, may experience worsening symptoms if they use this medication; therefore, it should not be administered. Patients with bronchial asthma should use this medication with caution, and individuals allergic to or having hypersensitivity to the propylene glycol component contained in this medication should also use it carefully. If symptoms such as redness, rash, itching, or burning sensation appear on the skin during use, the application should be stopped immediately, as these may indicate contact dermatitis. Additionally, if early symptoms of an asthma attack such as shortness of breath or wheezing occur, use should be discontinued immediately, and medical consultation should be sought. This medication helps relieve inflammation and pain but is not a cure for the underlying cause, so it should only be used for symptom relief. When used on inflamed areas associated with skin infections, the infection may not be outwardly visible, so it is important to use antimicrobial or antifungal agents for infection treatment and monitor the condition carefully. When using in chronic conditions like degenerative arthritis, consider other treatment methods alongside medication, and closely monitor for side effects. It is advisable not to use this medication during the early stages of pregnancy except when absolutely necessary, and it should not be used during the later stages of pregnancy as it may pose risks to both the fetus and mother. The safety of this medication has not been sufficiently established in children, and its use is not recommended. Elderly patients should use this medication cautiously while closely monitoring their skin condition. Lastly, this medication should not be applied to damaged skin, mucous membranes, or areas with eczema or rash, and it is important to clean the sweat off the application site before use.
