This medication is used for the treatment of peripheral arterial circulation disorders, particularly intermittent claudication. It also helps alleviate dizziness and symptoms of vascular and degenerative tinnitus. Additionally, it is effective in improving symptoms related to organic brain dysfunction associated with dementia, such as tinnitus, headaches, memory decline, concentration difficulties, and depressed feelings. Overall, it helps to improve circulation in the brain and blood vessels, alleviating symptoms and contributing to enhanced quality of life.
1. Peripheral arterial circulation disorders, dizziness, tinnitus: the dose of Ginkgo leaf dry extract is 40mg per dose, taken 3 times a day or 80mg per dose, taken 2 times a day orally. 2. Organic brain dysfunction: the dose of Ginkgo leaf dry extract is 40-80mg per dose, taken 3 times a day or 120mg per dose, taken 2 times a day orally. Adjust dosage appropriately according to age and symptoms.
This medication should not be taken by those with specific allergies. In particular, individuals who have previously shown hypersensitivity to this medication should avoid its use. Children under 12 years of age should not take this medication as there is insufficient experience regarding its safety in children. Pregnant women should carefully consider this medication before taking it. Although animal studies did not demonstrate teratogenicity, there is a lack of experience regarding its use during pregnancy. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with hereditary lactose intolerance should refrain from taking it. This includes conditions such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, and glucose-galactose malabsorption. Individuals with bleeding disorders or taking medications that increase bleeding risk should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication, as there may be interactions with anticoagulants. Breastfeeding women should consult a healthcare professional before use, as it is unknown whether this medication passes into breast milk. This medication contains the colorant Yellow No. 4; those who have allergies or have had hypersensitivity reactions to this component should avoid taking it. If surgery is planned, it is important to discontinue this medication and consult medical personnel, as it may increase the risk of bleeding during surgery. If symptoms do not improve within 3 months or worsen, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Occasionally, taking this medication may cause gastrointestinal discomfort, headaches, or skin allergic reactions. If these symptoms occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Dizziness or itching has also been reported, so caution is necessary if such adverse reactions occur. Rarely, serious allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis may occur; if sudden breathing difficulties or swelling occur, seek emergency treatment immediately. This medication is not an antihypertensive agent; therefore, it is advisable for individuals with hypertension to avoid its use during special treatments. Finally, this medication should be stored out of reach of children in a safe place, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place with the cap tightly closed.
