This medication is used as adjunctive treatment for chronic liver disease, cirrhosis, and toxic liver disease.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults should take 1 capsule at a time, 3 times a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals allergic or hypersensitive to soybean oil, soy, and peanuts. Individuals with severe biliary obstruction and children under 12 years old should also avoid taking this medication. It is advisable not to take this medication concurrently with levodopa, as it may reduce the effectiveness of levodopa. Patients with abnormal lipid metabolism such as hyperlipoproteinemia, diabetic dyslipidemia, or pancreatitis, or those who need to be cautious about using lipid emulsions should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Patients at risk of lipid overload should frequently monitor their blood lipid levels during this medication and adjust the dosage if necessary. If using other intravenous lipid preparations, the amount of lipids contained in this medication should be considered to reduce the amount of other lipid agents. Women who are pregnant or likely to become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should consult a doctor before taking this medication. Animal studies have shown no risk to the fetus, but studies on humans are insufficient. If side effects occur during treatment with this medication or if symptoms do not improve after taking it for more than one month, the medication should be discontinued immediately and a healthcare professional consulted. Always adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and administration, and keep the medication out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and ensure the lid is tightly closed to maintain the quality of the medication.
