It is used to improve overall health and reduce discomfort for the patient.
Usually, adults take 4 tablets per dose, 3 times daily before meals or between meals.
This medicine should not be taken by pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, as the ingredients can cause uterine contractions and increase the risk of miscarriage or premature birth. Breastfeeding women should also avoid this medicine, as some ingredients may be transferred through breast milk and cause diarrhea in the baby. Individuals with a genetic inability to digest lactose should not take this medication because it contains lactose, which may worsen symptoms. Those allergic to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts should refrain from using this medicine due to the risk of allergic reactions. It is advisable not to use other laxatives while taking this medication, as drug interactions may lead to side effects. Individuals with hypertension, heart or kidney diseases, and edema should consult a physician or pharmacist before use, as this medication may exacerbate symptoms. It is crucial for the elderly or those taking other medications to consult a professional, as bodily functions may be weakened and side effects can occur more easily. Those with diarrhea or loose stools, weak stomachs, loss of appetite, or nausea should seek professional advice before taking this medicine, as symptoms may worsen. During use, if symptoms such as decreased urine output, swelling, raised blood pressure, headache, muscle weakness, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, skin rashes, insomnia, rapid heartbeat, urinary disorders, or liver function abnormalities appear, the medication should be stopped immediately and a professional consulted. For use in constipation, if symptoms do not improve after one week of use, consult a professional. Long-term use should generally be avoided; however, if long-term use is unavoidable, professional consultation is necessary. Irritant laxatives may develop tolerance and worsen constipation with prolonged use, so it is advisable not to use continuously for more than a week. Dosage and administration must be strictly followed, and effects may vary by individual, so caution is needed. When taking with other herbal or biological medicines, attention should be paid to ingredient overlap, especially when used in combination with products containing rhubarb.
