This medication is used to relieve symptoms such as stomach pain, heartburn, indigestion, and nausea.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults (15 years and older, under 80 years): Take 2 tablets at a time, and if symptoms do not improve after 5 hours, take another 2 tablets. However, do not exceed a total of 4 tablets per day.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients receiving treatment for blood disorders, kidney or liver diseases, stomach or duodenal disorders, or immune system diseases such as asthma or rheumatoid arthritis. During treatment with this medication, white blood cell or platelet counts may decrease, requiring special caution in patients with these conditions. Patients taking medications that affect the immune system, such as steroids, antibiotics, anticancer agents, and azole antifungals, have an increased risk of side effects when this medication is taken simultaneously. Patients with a history of blood disorders such as erythrocytopenia, thrombocytopenia, or leukopenia should avoid this medication as symptoms may worsen. If there is hypersensitivity to histamine H2-receptor antagonists, allergic reactions may occur when taking this medication. Children under 15 years old and elderly individuals over 80 years old should avoid use or administer with caution as the safety has not been adequately verified and impaired kidney function may lead to excessive effects. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, and nursing mothers should not take this medication; nursing mothers should cease breastfeeding while taking this medication. Patients undergoing dialysis should also avoid this medication. This medication contains lactose, so patients with lactose intolerance or hereditary lactose digestive enzyme deficiency should not take it. Patients taking other medications or receiving medical treatment should be careful due to the possibility of drug interactions leading to side effects or reduced effectiveness. Individuals who have had hypersensitivity reactions to drugs may experience allergic reactions while taking this medication, so caution is advised. Patients with symptoms such as sore throat, cough, or high fever may have severe infections and must consult a doctor before taking this medication. If there are unexplained weight loss or persistent abdominal pain, it is important to check for other conditions before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, swelling, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, or muscle pain occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult an expert. If sudden chest tightness, paleness, cold extremities, profuse sweating, or shortness of breath occurs after taking this medication, notify medical personnel immediately. Severe skin rash accompanied by high fever or blisters on the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat also requires urgent treatment. If bleeding symptoms like sore throat, fever, fatigue, bleeding gums, or nosebleeds appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor. If jaundice symptoms appear, the medication should be discontinued immediately and treatment sought. If symptoms do not improve after three days of use, other disorders may be present, so cease medication and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Avoid long-term use for more than two weeks, and refrain from consuming alcoholic beverages during treatment. It is safe to not exceed the prescribed dosage and not to take it together with other gastrointestinal medications. If there is a history of kidney disease, consult an expert before taking this medication. The antacid components included in this medication may interact with certain antibiotics and hinder drug absorption, so caution is required. Children or the elderly may have a risk of side effects due to differences in body function when taking this medication; use with caution.
