Treatment of peripheral arterial circulation disorders (intermittent claudication) and brain function disorders (dizziness, tinnitus, etc.)
This medication is used to alleviate intermittent leg pain caused by peripheral arterial circulation disorders and to treat dizziness and vascular or degenerative tinnitus. It also helps improve brain function disorders accompanied by symptoms related to dementia, such as tinnitus, headaches, memory decline, concentration difficulties, feelings of depression, and dizziness. Through these effects, it is effective in enhancing overall blood circulation and brain function. Therefore, this medicine is used to improve various symptoms related to blood circulation problems.
1) Peripheral arterial circulation disorders, dizziness, tinnitus: Administer 40 mg of Ginkgo Biloba Dry Extract orally three times a day or 80 mg orally twice a day. 2) Organic brain function disorders: Administer 40 to 80 mg of Ginkgo Biloba Dry Extract orally three times a day or 120 mg orally twice a day. Adjust dosages appropriately based on age and symptoms.
This medication should not be taken by individuals who are hypersensitive to certain ingredients. Use is not recommended for children under 12 years of age as there is insufficient experience with administration in this age group. Pregnant women should exercise caution when taking this medication as there is insufficient information on its safety during pregnancy. Additionally, since this medication contains lactose, individuals with a genetic disorder that prevents lactose digestion should not take it. Individuals with bleeding disorders or those taking blood-thinning medications should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Nursing women should also consult a professional as it is not known whether this medication passes into breast milk. This medication contains a dye called tartrazine, so individuals allergic to this substance should use caution. If surgery is planned, or if symptoms do not improve or worsen after taking the medication for more than three months, use should be stopped immediately, and a professional should be consulted. Occasional gastrointestinal discomfort, headaches, and allergic skin reactions may occur, and side effects such as dizziness or itching have also been reported. Rarely, severe allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis may occur, so if any unusual symptoms appear, immediate consultation with medical personnel is necessary. This medication is not intended for the treatment of hypertension, so hypertensive patients should not take this medication unless special treatment is needed.
