This medication helps reduce pain and swelling from osteoarthritis, such as degenerative arthritis, shoulder periarthritis, tendonitis and tendon sheath inflammation, as well as muscle pain and post-traumatic swelling and pain. It is also effective for lateral epicondylitis known as tennis elbow. It alleviates uncomfortable symptoms through pain relief and anti-inflammatory effects, and reduces inflammation to improve daily discomfort. When used for these symptoms, pain and inflammation are effectively treated.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Remove the release paper and apply 1 sheet to the affected area (site of the condition) twice a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in certain patients. Patients who have had allergic reactions to this medication, its ingredients, or similar medications should avoid administration. Additionally, patients who have experienced asthma attacks or allergic symptoms after using aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) should not use this medication. Patients with bronchial asthma should be cautious as their asthma symptoms may worsen while using this medication. This medication contains the ingredient propylene glycol, so patients with allergies or hypersensitivity to this ingredient should use it with caution. Skin reactions such as itching, rash, red spots, dermatitis, contact dermatitis, irritation, or blisters may occur, so if these symptoms worsen, usage should be stopped immediately. It should be remembered that this medication does not treat the underlying causes of inflammation or pain but rather helps alleviate symptoms. When using it on skin with infections or suspected infections, antibacterial or antifungal agents should be used alongside to ensure the infection does not worsen, and the condition should be closely monitored. When using for chronic arthritis or long-term diseases, other treatment methods should be considered alongside medication therapy, and the patient's condition should be monitored continuously to avoid side effects. In late pregnancy, this medication may delay labor or cause difficult labor, so it is safest for pregnant or potentially pregnant women, as well as breastfeeding women, to avoid using it. Safety for children has not been sufficiently established, so it is advisable to avoid use in children. This medication should not be applied to damaged skin or mucous membranes, and areas with eczema or rashes.
