Treatment of athlete's foot caused by dermatophytes
This medication is used to treat skin infections caused by dermatophytes such as Trichophyton, Microsporum canis, and Epidermophyton floccosum. It is particularly effective in relieving symptoms of tinea pedis, commonly known as athlete's foot. It is suitable for adolescents aged 15 and older as well as adults, and helps to clean the infected area of the skin and alleviate symptoms. It effectively treats infections caused by dermatophytes and helps maintain comfortable skin conditions. Therefore, it is used for the treatment of athlete's foot caused by dermatophytes.
This medication is applied only once. Before application, clean the affected area thoroughly and dry it completely, then apply a sufficient amount so that the affected area and the surrounding skin are adequately moistened. To ensure complete treatment of the fungus, apply to both feet even if lesions are only present on one foot. Apply this medication thinly between the toes and over the entire sole of the foot, as well as up to about 1.5 cm above the sole, and allow it to dry for 1 to 2 minutes.
This medication contains terbinafine hydrochloride and is used to treat skin fungal infections. This medication should not be used by individuals who have had allergies or hypersensitivity reactions to terbinafine or any of its ingredients. Women who are pregnant, may become pregnant, or are nursing should not use this medication. Children under 15 years of age should not use this medication, as its safety and efficacy have not been sufficiently confirmed. When using this medication, side effects such as skin rashes, redness, itching, irritation, contact dermatitis, skin peeling, sharp pain, or burning sensation may occur. If such symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. It is also important to stop using the medication if excessive irritation or worsening of symptoms occurs and to consult a healthcare professional. Do not use occlusive dressings or wrapping methods without consulting a doctor, and if there is no response to the medication, testing for fungal infections should be conducted. Because it contains alcohol such as ethanol, skin irritation can occur, so caution should be taken, especially when applying to infants or mucosal areas. Care should also be taken when using on wound areas or large areas, as well as in infants, due to the potential for systemic absorption of the medication. Safety during pregnancy has not been established, so it should only be used when the therapeutic benefits outweigh the risks, and nursing should be stopped if this medication is used. Since this medication is an external treatment and not for oral consumption, care should be taken to avoid oral ingestion, and if ingested accidentally, immediate appropriate treatment should be sought. Take care to avoid contact with the eyes, and if contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water. It is advisable not to use this on nails, scalp, the area around the mouth, or genital area. Extreme caution is required when using on cracked or irritated skin.
Rash
Skin rashes, redness, erythema, itching, irritation, localized contact dermatitis, skin peeling, sharp pain (刺痛), and burning sensation may occur at the application site.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication should be stored in a sealed container to protect it from air and moisture. The storage temperature should be maintained between 15 to 30 degrees Celsius at room temperature.
This medication is a colorless or pale white transparent external preparation.
