Exiren Tablets (Artemisia absinthium 95% Ethanol Extract (20->1))

Adult dose

Administer orally 60 mg of Artemisia herb 95% ethanol soft extract per dose 3 times daily.

This medication contains lactose and should not be used in patients with lactose intolerance or specific genetic metabolic disorders. Also, individuals allergic to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts should not take this medication. Precautions should be taken when using this medication in patients with thromboembolism or consumptive coagulopathy, as well as those with serious issues related to the liver, kidneys, heart, lungs, or blood. Patients with a history of drug allergy symptoms or previous allergic reactions should also exercise caution. Patients with lipid metabolism disorders, hyperlipidemia, diabetic dyslipidemia, or pancreatitis should be administered this medication carefully. This medication may cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, loss of appetite, diarrhea, vomiting, heartburn, and abdominal pain. Occasionally, adverse reactions such as dizziness, headache, rashes, itching, and increased liver enzyme levels have also been reported. Caution is advised as gastrointestinal-related side effects may occur more frequently when used in conjunction with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. This medication has not been sufficiently studied in patients with gastric ulcers or gastroesophageal reflux disease, so use should be cautious. If symptoms do not improve after using for more than 2 weeks, discontinue use and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Patients at risk for fatty overload should regularly check blood lipid levels and may need to adjust the dose. Research on drug interactions between this medication and others has not yet been conducted. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should use this medication only if necessary, as its safety has not been established. This medication may affect liver function test results, so regular testing is necessary. When storing this medication, it should be kept out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place; it is advisable not to transfer it to another container.
