Yuparen Tablets (Mugwort 95% Ethanol Extract (20→1))

Adult dose

Administer orally 60 mg per dose, 3 times daily, as 95% ethanol soft extract of Artemisia leaf.

This medication contains lactose, and should not be taken by individuals with genetic disorders that prevent them from digesting lactose. Patients with thrombosis, disseminated coagulation disorders, or serious impairment of major organ functions such as the liver or kidneys should exercise extreme caution when using this medication. Individuals with drug allergies or hypersensitivity to specific pigments included in this drug should also take care when using it. This medication may cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as indigestion, nausea, diarrhea, as well as neurological symptoms like headache and dizziness. Periodic testing may be necessary, as liver enzyme levels may temporarily rise in liver function tests. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their physician before taking this medication due to unestablished safety. If symptoms do not improve after taking this medication for about 2 weeks, it is advisable to discontinue use and consult a specialist.
