Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Dizziness, fatigue, headache, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, loss of appetite, heartburn, indigestion, rash, itching, hair loss, restlessness, anxiety, depression, drowsiness, periorbital edema (swelling around the eyes), lethargy, fever, nosebleeds, exacerbated inflammation, rhinitis, hearing loss, tinnitus, altered taste, low blood pressure, high blood pressure, palpitations, numbness, microclots, decreased platelet function, prolonged bleeding time

Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with aspirin, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or high-dose methotrexate used in cancer therapy (15 mg/week or more). Concomitant use with corticosteroids, alcohol, digoxin, phenytoin, probenecid, sulfinpyrazone, sulfonylureas, ACE inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor antagonists, diuretics, lithium, anticoagulants (e.g. warfarin), baclofen, immunosuppressants (cyclosporine, etc.) should be avoided.
