This medication is used to improve lesions of the gastric mucosa caused by acute and chronic gastritis, such as erosion, bleeding, redness, and swelling. It also helps to prevent gastritis that may occur when taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). This helps maintain gastric health and effectively manage gastrointestinal disorders.

Precautions

This medication contains lactose, so it should not be used in patients with genetic disorders that prevent lactose digestion. Caution is advised for patients with thrombosis or coagulopathy, as well as those with serious issues involving major organs such as the liver, kidneys, heart, lungs, or blood. Patients with drug allergy symptoms or a history of allergies should also take caution. This medication contains the dye Yellow No. 4 (Tartrazine), so individuals allergic to this ingredient should be careful. When taking, gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, loss of appetite, diarrhea, vomiting, heartburn, and abdominal pain may occur, and sometimes dizziness, headaches, skin rashes, itching, and liver function abnormalities may appear. When taken together with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, digestive symptoms such as abdominal bloating, epigastric pain, heartburn, and diarrhea may occur more frequently, so care should be taken. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant should only take this medication based on a physician's judgment due to the lack of complete safety verification. Lactating women should only use this medication if the benefits outweigh the risks, as it is not known whether this medication passes into breast milk. For long-term use, it is advisable to periodically check liver function tests or blood tests to monitor liver levels and blood condition. Keep out of reach of children and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Additionally, transferring this medication to another container may change its quality, so it is safest to store it in its original packaging.
