Patients who regularly consume more than three drinks per day should consult with their doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication or other analgesics. This medication may affect the cardiovascular system and increase the risk of heart disease or stroke, so particular caution is advised for individuals with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors. Additionally, this drug can cause serious gastrointestinal adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations, so those with a history of gastrointestinal disease or older patients should use it more cautiously. Allergic reactions may occur, and severe reactions such as anaphylaxis can happen even in those who have never taken non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Since this medication may mask inflammatory symptoms and delay the diagnosis of infectious complications, it should be used with antibiotics if infection is suspected. This medication should not be administered to patients with a history of peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe blood abnormalities, liver impairment, kidney impairment, heart failure, hypertension, drug hypersensitivity, allergy to aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, pregnant or breastfeeding women, children, and infants. Patients with genetic metabolic disorders such as lactose intolerance should also avoid taking it. Particular caution is needed for specific groups of patients, including those with blood abnormalities, bleeding tendencies, liver impairment, kidney impairment, hypersensitivity, heart dysfunction, hypertension, autoimmune diseases, asthma, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, esophageal passage disorders, and the elderly. This medication may cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, and rarely, serious bleeding or ulcers may occur. Various side effects such as skin rashes, liver function abnormalities, kidney dysfunction, blood abnormalities, central nervous system abnormalities, and cardiovascular issues have been reported, so any unusual symptoms should be reported to a physician immediately. This medication should be taken at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration and regular blood tests, as well as liver and kidney function tests, are recommended during long-term use. Particularly in elderly patients or those with chronic diseases, special attention should be paid to the occurrence of side effects and caution exercised during use. This drug may interact with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, glucocorticoids, ACE inhibitors, aspirin, diuretics, lithium, methotrexate, digoxin, anticoagulants, and others, so consulting with a physician is necessary when used in combination. During pregnancy, especially in late pregnancy, it may pose a risk to the fetus, so women who may become pregnant should consult a physician before taking this medication. It is advisable to take this medication after meals with plenty of water, and not to chew the tablets or take them on an empty stomach. Caution should be exercised when driving or operating machinery, as drowsiness or decreased reaction may occur. In case of overdose, emergency measures such as inducing vomiting and gastric lavage are necessary, and if symptoms such as hypotension, kidney failure, or seizures appear, immediate medical attention should be sought.
