Treatment of androgenetic alopecia in both men and women
This medication is used for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia in men and women. Specifically, it helps improve hair loss symptoms with formulations of 2%, 3%, and 5% concentrations. For patients struggling with hair loss, it can promote hair growth and suppress the progression of hair loss, thus serving as a good treatment option even when self-management is difficult. With regular use, it can alleviate hair loss and enhance hair health. Therefore, both men and women use this medication for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia.
(Gel formulation) After completely drying hair and scalp, apply 0.5 to 1 g of this medication to the affected area twice a day (morning and evening) for at least 4 months. Do not exceed a total daily dosage of 2 g. (Liquid formulation) 2%, 5% After completely drying hair and scalp, apply 0.5 to 1 mL of this medication to the affected area twice a day (morning and evening) for at least 4 months. Do not exceed a total daily dosage of 2 mL.
This medication is not recommended for female patients, especially at the 5% concentration. Children under the age of 18, pregnant women, women who may become pregnant, and nursing mothers should not use this medication. Patients who have had allergic reactions to this medication or its ingredients should also avoid its use. Patients with heart or vascular-related diseases, such as hypertension or arrhythmia, should safely refrain from using this medication. Patients experiencing hair loss not due to genetic factors or sudden patchy hair loss should also not use this medication. This medication should be avoided in cases of inflammation, infection, or irritation of the scalp, as well as if there are scalp abnormalities. If using other topical scalp medications or if the scalp has been shaved, the use of this medication should also be avoided. If any abnormal symptoms such as itching, rash, or erythema occur while using this medication, usage should be immediately stopped and a specialist consulted. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea or vomiting may occur, and cardiac-related symptoms like chest pain or palpitations should be noted. Central nervous system symptoms such as shortness of breath, dizziness, or headaches have been reported, so it's essential to consult a specialist if any unusual symptoms arise. It is important to consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication to verify personal health status and scalp condition. This medication should be used only topically on the scalp, and excessive use or use on areas other than the scalp could adversely affect the heart. Consult a specialist if there is no effect from the medication or if hair loss worsens. After using this medication, hands should be thoroughly washed, and care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes or sensitive areas. This medication is flammable; therefore, avoid flames or heat sources, and store it in a place out of reach of children. Moreover, it is crucial to keep the medication in its original container to maintain its quality.
Urticaria, edema, chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweats, pallor, severe rash accompanied by high fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in the mucous membranes of the mouth/eyes, difficulty breathing or tightness, asthma attacks, respiratory abnormalities accompanied by cough and fever, yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), profound lethargy, sudden and very severe headaches, lightning headaches, seizures, confusion of consciousness, visual disturbances, paralysis, markedly reduced urine output

Do not use this medication with other topical scalp medications. Avoid using it in conjunction with topical corticosteroids, retinoids, petroleum jelly, dithranol, drugs that enhance percutaneous absorption, and vasodilators like guanethidine.
This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container that does not allow light in and at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius. This is a way to maintain the effectiveness of the medication and prevent degradation.
