Precautions

People who regularly consume more than three drinks a day should consult with their doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication, as taking it with alcohol may significantly increase the risk of gastric bleeding. This medication may increase the risk of cardiovascular issues, so those with a history of heart disease or stroke, or those with risk factors should exercise caution. Symptoms related to heart issues should be reported to a healthcare provider immediately. This medication can cause serious gastrointestinal problems such as bleeding, ulcers, and perforation, therefore individuals with a history of gastrointestinal disorders or the elderly should be particularly cautious. If gastrointestinal symptoms occur during use, notify healthcare professionals immediately. Allergic reactions may suddenly appear in individuals without a previous history of allergies; in such cases, immediately discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional if symptoms such as rash, itching, or difficulty breathing occur. This medication can mask symptoms of inflammation or pain, potentially delaying the diagnosis of infectious diseases, so it should be used along with appropriate antibiotics and closely monitored if infection is suspected. Individuals with a history of peptic ulcers, gastric bleeding, severe blood disorders, liver dysfunction, kidney dysfunction, heart failure, severe hypertension, allergies to any component of this medication, or a history of allergies to aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should not take this medication. Caution is required for those with blood disorders, bleeding tendencies, liver or kidney impairment, a history of hypersensitivity, heart dysfunction, hypertension, autoimmune diseases, asthma, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, esophageal motility disorders, and the elderly when using this medication. This medication may cause gastrointestinal side effects such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, and in severe cases, gastric bleeding or ulcers may occur. Various side effects including skin rashes, hepatic dysfunction, kidney dysfunction, hematological abnormalities, and neurological effects have also been reported; any unusual symptoms should prompt immediate consultation with a physician. This drug should be used at the lowest effective dose and for the shortest duration possible; long-term use requires regular blood tests and assessments of liver and kidney function. Interactions may occur when taken with other anti-inflammatory drugs, anticoagulants, diuretics, lithium, methotrexate, digoxin, and so forth, so consult a physician when using these medications concurrently. In particular, late in pregnancy, this medication may harm the fetus, so women who may become pregnant must consult with their doctor before taking it. Elderly patients are at higher risk for side effects, so therapy should begin at lower doses and be closely monitored. This medication can cause ulcers if it remains in the esophagus, so it is advisable to take it with plenty of water and to avoid taking it on an empty stomach or right before bedtime. In case of overdose, emergency measures such as vomiting, gastric lavage, or administration of activated charcoal are necessary; symptoms like hypotension, kidney failure, and seizures may occur, necessitating an immediate visit to a healthcare facility. Store in a safe place out of reach of children and do not transfer to another container.
