This medication is used adjunctively for various skin conditions including wounds, burns, lacerations, pressure ulcers, acute and chronic dermatitis, eczema, and skin ulcers. It is also beneficial for nipple cracks during breastfeeding, diaper rash, and sunburn (solar dermatitis). This drug helps with skin recovery and reduces inflammation. Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Apply to the affected area 1 to 2 times a day after cleansing the wound. For nipple cracks during breastfeeding, apply to the nipples immediately after each feeding.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who have previously experienced allergic reactions to this drug or any of its excipients. Additionally, patients with infected or oozing skin diseases should not use this medication. Caution should be exercised to prevent direct contact with the eyes when using this medication, and care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes. If this medication is applied to cracked nipples during breastfeeding, it should be thoroughly wiped off before nursing to prevent drug transfer to the baby.
