This medication is designed for patients who require both amlodipine (esamlodipine) and atorvastatin. Amlodipine treats hypertension and myocardial ischemia caused by stable or variant angina, reducing the risk of hospital admissions for angina in patients with coronary artery disease and the risks associated with vascular surgery. Atorvastatin lowers the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and angina in adults with cardiovascular disease risk factors and in patients with type 2 diabetes. It is also effective for the treatment of dyslipidemia and plays an important role in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases and improving dyslipidemia. Therefore, this medication is used to manage and improve cardiovascular health.
