Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who have had allergic reactions to this medication or its constituents. Individuals with aspirin-induced asthma or a history of such conditions should be cautious as asthma attacks may occur upon using this medication. It should not be applied to the eyes, mucous membranes, damaged skin, areas with eczema or rashes, or fungal infection sites such as athlete's foot or tinea. Patients with bronchial asthma or those undergoing other treatments, as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women, should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. Particularly, pregnant or breastfeeding women should only use this medication when the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks, as its safety is not well established. Safety has not been established in children, especially premature infants, newborns, infants, and children, and there is insufficient experience in usage. Elderly individuals, especially those over 65 years old, should closely monitor their skin condition due to a higher incidence of skin side effects. Due to the sodium tetraborate in this medication, asthma patients should exercise extra caution as allergic reactions or asthma attacks may occur. If symptoms do not improve after using the medication for more than a week, usage should be stopped immediately and consultation with a doctor or pharmacist should occur. If side effects such as itching, red spots, contact dermatitis, or a bloated feeling occur during use, consult a specialist. In severe cases, acute allergic reactions such as shock or anaphylaxis may occur, so if these symptoms arise, stop using immediately and seek treatment. The prescribed use and dosage must be strictly followed, and this medication serves as a treatment to alleviate symptoms rather than a cure for the underlying condition. In case of skin infections, appropriate antibiotics or antifungal agents should be used alongside this medication while monitoring the condition closely. When using this medication for chronic diseases like degenerative arthritis, other treatment methods should also be considered in addition to drug therapy, and attention should be paid to adverse reactions. Do not use this medication in conjunction with occlusive dressings, and keep it out of the reach of children. This medication should be stored in its original container and tightly closed, as transferring it to another container may pose risks of misuse or quality deterioration.
