Treatment and prevention of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women
This medication is used for the treatment and prevention of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. It helps to increase bone density and reduce the risk of fractures, maintaining healthy bones.
Administer 60 mg of Laroisifen Hydrochloride orally once daily.
This medication is used for the treatment and prevention of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. Caution is needed when taking this medication as it may increase the risk of blood clots in the bloodstream, particularly in individuals with a history of thrombosis or those at higher risk of thrombosis. If unable to move or during postoperative recovery, use of this medication should be temporarily halted. Since this medication is primarily metabolized by the liver, patients with impaired liver function should carefully consider use prior to taking this medication, and liver function test results should be checked regularly. This medication is not suitable for premenopausal women, and women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing women, should not take this medication. Patients with cardiovascular disease or a history of stroke should consult with a doctor as the risk of stroke may increase when taking this medication. This medication is not intended for the prevention of cardiovascular disease and is not recommended to take in conjunction with other systemic estrogen agents. During treatment, symptoms such as facial flushing due to vasodilation, leg cramps, cold-like symptoms, and peripheral edema may occur. Additionally, this medication contains lactose, so patients with lactose intolerance should not take it. Interactions with other medications may occur; therefore, it is essential to inform your healthcare provider of any current medications being taken. It is recommended to supplement calcium and vitamin D if deficient, and improving smoking and drinking habits can be beneficial. Use during pregnancy can affect the fetus, and during nursing, it can affect the baby, so use should be avoided. The use of this medication is not recommended for children and males. In case of overdose, symptoms such as leg cramps and dizziness may occur, so it is crucial to adhere to the prescribed dosage. This medication should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be transferred to other containers.
