Amlodipine is effective for hypertension and myocardial ischemia due to stable or variant angina, and reduces the risk of hospitalization for angina and the risk associated with revascularization in patients with confirmed coronary artery disease through recent angiography. Atorvastatin reduces various cardiovascular risks, including the risks of myocardial infarction, stroke, and revascularization, and improves cardiovascular health by controlling cholesterol and triglyceride levels in patients with hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia. These two drugs effectively lower the risk of cardiovascular diseases in certain patients and help regulate blood pressure and lipid levels. Therefore, this medication is used in patients requiring the combined effects of both medications.
