How to take

Adult dose

The recommended adult dosage is one tablet of Valsartan 80 mg/Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg once daily, to be taken with a small amount of water regardless of meals. The dosage of Valsartan 160 mg/Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg is applied when prescribed for blood pressure reduction.

Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus, particularly during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, so it should be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. People allergic to this drug's components or sulfonamide medications, as well as those with severe liver or kidney dysfunction, should not take it. Caution should be taken when using potassium supplements or potassium-containing medications, as it can affect potassium levels.
