(Hypertension, Angina) Reduction of myocardial ischemia and cardiovascular risk, improvement of dyslipidemia
This medication is used for patients requiring treatment with both amlodipine (esamlodipine) and atorvastatin. Amlodipine is effective in treating myocardial ischemia caused by hypertension and stable or variant angina, and it reduces the risk of hospitalization for angina and the risk of vascular surgery in patients recently diagnosed with coronary artery disease through angiography. Atorvastatin reduces the risk of various cardiovascular diseases associated with coronary artery disease and helps in the treatment of hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia. It is particularly effective in lowering the risk of cardiovascular complications such as myocardial infarction, stroke, angina, and congestive heart failure. It is also used to improve lipid levels in patients with hyperlipidemia that is difficult to control with diet. In summary, this medication is used for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases and for lipid level improvement.
