It is advisable to discontinue use 24 hours before surgery, and regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, and blood potassium levels should be conducted while on this medication. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not take this medication, and breastfeeding should be avoided or discontinued if taken.
