Precautions

This medication should be used with caution in women in the first three months of pregnancy or those who may become pregnant, as administering more than 5,000 IU of vitamin A daily may induce the risk of congenital disabilities. Patients with hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis, renal diseases, or allergies to any of the ingredients in this medication should not take it. Infants under 3 months old, patients with kidney stones, and those allergic to soybean oil or peanuts should also avoid this medication. Individuals undergoing treatment from a physician, or those with specific kidney diseases, pregnant or breastfeeding women, premature infants, infants, gout patients, or those with hyperlipidemia or diabetic dyslipidemia should consult a specialist before use. Long-term high-dose administration may lead to tolerance or complications such as peptic ulcers, blood glucose regulation disorders, hyperuricemia, and liver damage, thus caution is necessary. Women after menopause may be at increased risk of osteoporosis from prolonged high-dose vitamin A intake. Dosages must adhere strictly to prescribed methods and dosages, and the daily intake of vitamin A should not exceed 5,000 IU. This medication may affect blood sugar test results during urinalysis and can change urine color to yellow, affecting clinical tests. Patients with abnormalities in lipid metabolism should take this medication while monitoring plasma lipid levels, and dosage adjustment may be needed when taken with other lipid medications. Store this medication out of the reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place in a tightly sealed container. Additionally, to preserve quality and prevent misuse, do not transfer to other containers.
