This medication is used to improve constipation and helps relieve symptoms caused by constipation, such as loss of appetite, abdominal distension, intestinal fermentation, and hemorrhoids.
Adults (15 years and over) should take 2-3 tablets once daily at bedtime (on an empty stomach). Initially, take the minimum dose and gradually adjust based on the shape and condition of the stool.
This medication should not be taken by individuals with acute abdominal diseases, gastrointestinal bleeding, or serious abdominal conditions such as ulcerative colitis. Additionally, patients with intestinal obstruction should also refrain from taking this medication. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with a deficiency of lactase or those with a genetic condition affecting glucose-galactose absorption should not take it. While taking this medication, antacids or milk should not be taken, or this medication should not be taken within 1 hour after their intake. Individuals experiencing severe abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should also consult a professional before use. It is important for those taking other medications or who have allergies to consult a professional as well. Individuals on a sodium-restricted diet or with a history of rectal bleeding or bowel dysfunction should consult before use. This medication contains a dye called Yellow 4, so individuals who are sensitive or allergic to this component should be cautious. If symptoms such as skin rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. If abdominal discomfort or cramps arise, it is also necessary to stop taking and seek advice. If constipation does not improve after a week of use, stop taking and consult a professional. Strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration. It is advisable for children under 10 years of age to avoid usage unless specifically required. This medication should be swallowed whole and not chewed, and it should not be used continuously for more than a week as it may lead to drug tolerance and worsen constipation. If daily use of a laxative is essential, the cause of constipation should be verified accurately. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and kept sealed. Moreover, to maintain quality, it should not be transferred to another container, and improper use should be prevented.
