This medication is used for patients who need to take both amlodipine and atorvastatin simultaneously. Amlodipine is effective in treating myocardial ischemia caused by cardiovascular problems such as hypertension, stable angina pectoris, and variant angina pectoris. It also helps reduce the risk of hospital admissions for angina in patients with coronary heart disease and the risk of vascular reconstruction. Atorvastatin reduces the risks of myocardial infarction, stroke, vascular reconstruction, and angina in individuals with risk factors for cardiovascular disease. It also improves cholesterol and triglyceride levels in patients with hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia and increases HDL cholesterol levels to protect vascular health. In summary, this medication is used for blood pressure control, improvement of vascular health, and prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
