This medication is used for patients with cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension or angina who must be treated with both amlodipine (Esamlodipine) and atorvastatin. Amlodipine dilates blood vessels to improve hypertension and myocardial ischemia caused by stable or variant angina. It also reduces the risk of hospitalization due to angina and risks related to vascular interventions in patients with coronary artery disease. Atorvastatin reduces the risk of various cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction, stroke, and angina, and helps lower serum cholesterol and triglyceride levels in patients with dyslipidemia while increasing HDL cholesterol. It is particularly effective for patients with familial hypercholesterolemia or mixed dyslipidemia. Therefore, this medication is used to improve cardiovascular health by managing blood pressure and cholesterol.
