Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn if taken during pregnancy, particularly in the second and third trimesters, so it should be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. Do not take this medication if allergic reactions occur, or if you have severe liver disease, cirrhosis, bile duct obstruction, severe kidney impairment, primary aldosteronism, or a history of angioedema. Elderly patients, those with hyperkalemia, mild to moderate liver impairment, valvular heart disease or obstructive cardiomyopathy, cardiovascular disease, or those with sodium or fluid depletion should use this medication cautiously and monitor blood pressure and kidney function closely. Blood pressure may drop sharply at the beginning of treatment; if dizziness or fainting occurs, notify medical personnel immediately. Patients undergoing dialysis or those taking diuretics are at increased risk of hypotension. This medication can increase potassium levels; therefore, if taken with potassium supplements or potassium-sparing diuretics, serum potassium levels should be checked frequently. There may be interactions if taken with other antihypertensives, diuretics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), or lithium; consult with healthcare professionals before use. During treatment, abnormalities such as liver dysfunction, kidney function decline, blood pressure drop, increased potassium levels, and angioedema may occur, so report any symptoms to medical personnel immediately. Breastfeeding women should avoid this medication, and the safety of use in children or adolescents under 18 years of age has not been established. In case of overdose, severe hypotension or altered consciousness may occur, requiring immediate medical attention.
