This medicine is used for patients who need to take amlodipine, which treats ischemic symptoms caused by coronary artery disease such as hypertension and stable and unstable angina, along with atorvastatin, which reduces the risk of various cardiovascular diseases. Amlodipine lowers blood pressure and alleviates coronary artery vasospasm and contraction to improve symptoms of myocardial ischemia. Atorvastatin reduces the risks associated with myocardial infarction, stroke, and revascularization, as well as the cardiovascular risk in patients with type 2 diabetes. It also helps reduce total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglyceride levels while increasing HDL cholesterol levels, thereby improving the blood lipid profile in dyslipidemia patients. This medication is effectively used for the prevention and treatment of various cardiovascular diseases.
