It is safe not to use this medication in patients with allergy to certain components or severe liver disease, or renal impairment. Electrolyte imbalances, particularly potassium and sodium levels, should be monitored periodically while taking this medication, and if severe hypokalemia or hyponatremia occurs, discontinuation may be necessary. Elderly patients or those with heart disease, kidney, or liver conditions should consult a physician thoroughly before taking the medication and use it carefully.
