Precautions

This medicine may cause allergic reactions such as rashes or itching during use. If these symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately. It should not be mixed with other disinfectants. Mixing may reduce efficacy or cause side effects. Urine tests conducted through catheters cleaned with this medicine may yield false positive results in some tests, so please take note. If this medicine gets into the eyes, thoroughly wash the eyes and eyelids with clean water for over 15 minutes and seek appropriate medical treatment immediately. If this medicine is accidentally swallowed, rinse the mouth thoroughly and drink water or milk, while suppressing vomiting, and quickly seek help from medical personnel. This medicine is for external use only and should be used in lower concentrations on inflamed or easily irritated areas. When used on deep wounds or the eyes, only sterile water should be used, and tap water or regular distilled water should not be used. Care must be taken to prevent the undiluted solution or concentrated drug from getting into the eyes, and if it does, it should be washed out immediately with clean water. Concentrated drugs can cause irritation to the skin or mucous membranes, so caution is advised during use. Extended or widespread use on mucous membranes, wounds, or inflamed areas may lead to systemic absorption of the drug, resulting in side effects such as muscle weakness, so caution is warranted. Soaps may reduce the bactericidal effect of this medicine, so be sure to thoroughly rinse off any soap before use. When soaking metal instruments for a long time, use sodium nitrite solution to prevent corrosion, but do not soak copper items for long periods as it is difficult to prevent corrosion. This medicine may change color or become cloudy during storage due to temperature changes, but this does not affect its efficacy, and if it becomes cloudy, warming it will restore transparency.
