This medication is used additionally for patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not sufficiently controlled by monotherapy.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dose for adults is 1 tablet of Valsartan 80 mg/Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg once daily, taken with a small amount of water regardless of meals. Valsartan 160 mg/Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg is applied when prescribed for blood pressure reduction. For patients with renal impairment of mild to moderate severity (creatinine clearance 30 mL/min or more), dose adjustment is not necessary. Patients with liver impairment

Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus during pregnancy, so it should be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed.
