This medication is used for the treatment of myocardial ischemia due to hypertension, stable angina, and variant angina. Additionally, it helps reduce the risk of hospitalization for angina among patients who have undergone coronary angiography for coronary artery disease without heart failure or with a cardiac output of more than 40%, and it also reduces the risks associated with coronary artery revascularization. Therefore, it is effective in improving cardiovascular health and preventing worsening of symptoms.
