(Hypertension, Angina) Improvement of myocardial ischemia and reduction of risk for (cardiovascular diseases)
This medication is used for patients who need to take both Amlodipine (S-Amlodipine) and Atorvastatin simultaneously. Amlodipine improves myocardial ischemia caused by heart-related conditions such as hypertension and stable or variant angina, reducing the risk of hospitalization due to angina and the risk of coronary artery revascularization. Atorvastatin reduces the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and vascular revascularization in patients with coronary heart disease or multiple risk factors, and it also lowers the risk of hospitalization due to congestive heart failure. Furthermore, it improves cholesterol and triglyceride levels in patients with hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia, enhancing cardiovascular health. This medication is effective for managing risk factors for cardiovascular diseases and treating dyslipidemia, improving the cardiovascular health of patients.
This medication is administered only to adults, and the dosage should be individualized for each patient based on the effects and tolerability of Amlodipine/Atorvastatin each component. Amlodipine (S-Amlodipine): Administered orally at 5 (2.5) mg once daily, with a maximum increase to 10 (5) mg per day depending on patient response. Adjust according to symptoms. Atorvastatin can be taken at any time of the day, with or without food.
