Precautions

This medication contains flurbiprofen and is classified as an anti-inflammatory painkiller, which should not be used by certain patients. First, patients who have had allergic reactions to this medication or other flurbiprofen products should not use it. Additionally, patients who have experienced asthma attacks due to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), known as aspirin-induced asthma, should also refrain from using this medication. Patients with bronchial asthma should be cautious when using this product as it may trigger asthma attacks. When using this medication, skin reactions such as redness, rash, itching, or burning may occur, and if these symptoms arise, use should be discontinued immediately. Moreover, this medication can provoke asthma attacks, so if symptoms like wheezing or difficulty breathing occur, use should be stopped immediately. It is important to remember that anti-inflammatory painkillers are not medications that treat the underlying cause; they only help alleviate symptoms. When applying to inflamed areas accompanied by skin infections, it is recommended to use antimicrobial or antifungal agents to prevent the infection from worsening, and to closely monitor the condition. For chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis, consider other treatment methods in conjunction with medication, and carefully observe the occurrence of side effects. During the early and mid stages of pregnancy, it is advisable to avoid using this medication unless absolutely necessary, and if use is required, it should be for the minimal effective dose and the shortest duration. In the later stages of pregnancy, this medication should not be used as it can harm the fetus's heart or kidneys, and may increase the risk of bleeding during delivery and delay labor. Safety in children has not been sufficiently established, so it is preferable to avoid use. Elderly patients should closely examine the skin condition of the area where the patch is to be applied and use it carefully. Lastly, this medication should not be used on areas with wounds or damaged skin, or areas with eczema or rashes, and the sweat on the area should be cleaned before application.
