Relief of moderate to severe acute and chronic pain
This medication is used to relieve acute and chronic pain that is classified as moderate to severe.
For children aged 12 and older and adults, an initial dose of 2 tablets is administered. Subsequent dosing intervals should be at least 6 hours apart, and total daily doses must not exceed 8 tablets. The lowest effective dose should be administered for the shortest duration possible. For elderly patients aged 75 years and older, the dosing interval should be at least 6 hours. This medication can cause liver damage in individuals with impaired liver function or those who consume alcohol heavily on a daily basis, so it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist beforehand. Additionally, if a rash or allergic reaction occurs after taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention. The components of this medication may trigger seizures, so patients with a history of seizures or at high risk of seizures should be particularly cautious. For patients with severe respiratory conditions, this medication may suppress breathing and should only be used in facilities equipped with specialized equipment. Taking this medication with central nervous system depressants or alcohol can lead to severe drowsiness or respiratory depression, so concomitant use should be avoided. This medication may lead to dependence, thus, when used for an extended period, the dosage and duration should be adjusted under a doctor's guidance. It should not be used in children under 12 years or adolescents under 18 years who have undergone a tonsillectomy, and pregnant or breastfeeding women must consult with a doctor prior to use. Avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery while taking this medication, and be careful not to exceed the prescribed dosage. In case of overdose, seek immediate medical attention for appropriate treatment, and be aware that liver damage or severe respiratory depression may occur. Store this medication in a safe place out of reach of children, and ensure to consult a professional when taking it alongside other medications.
