Precautions

This medicine is not recommended for female patients, especially at the 5% concentration. It should also be avoided by children under 18, and by women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Those with heart or vascular issues, such as coronary artery disease or arrhythmias, may be at risk when using this medication. Additionally, it should not be used in conjunction with other scalp medications or when the scalp is shaved. Do not use this medication with external corticosteroids or retinoids, and those taking vasodilators should exercise caution due to a risk of hypotension. Elderly patients or those with edema or thyroid function abnormalities must consult a specialist before use. If itching, redness, or abnormal symptoms such as those affecting the digestive, cardiac, or respiratory systems occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. This medication should be applied topically only to the scalp, and excessive absorption could affect the heart, so the prescribed dosage must be followed. If a dose is missed during treatment, do not compensate; simply continue with the next scheduled dose. This medication is not effective for hair loss due to specific causes, so it is important to identify the underlying cause of hair loss before using it.
