- Who takes it
- Adults
- Adult dose
- ○ Adults: Before administering this drug, it is recommended that the doses of perindopril or indapamide be adjusted as monotherapy. This drug should be administered only to patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with the individual components, at a dose of perindopril arginine 5 mg/indapamide 1.25 mg orally once daily before breakfast. ○ Patients with renal impairment This drug is contraindicated in patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance < 30 mL/min). Patients with moderate renal impairment (creatinine clearance 30 ~ 60 mL/min) should begin treatment with an appropriate dose of each component. No dose adjustment is required if creatinine clearance is 60 mL/min or higher, but continued monitoring of creatinine and potassium concentrations is necessary. ○ Patients with hepatic impairment This drug is contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic impairment. No dose adjustment is necessary in patients with moderate hepatic impairment.

Patients with severely impaired liver function should be cautious with this medication as some ingredients can induce hepatic encephalopathy, and photosensitivity may cause skin abnormalities, so sun exposure should be avoided. This medication should not be administered to patients with specific diseases or conditions, such as those with severely impaired renal function, high potassium levels, a history of angioedema, children, or pregnant women. Particularly in elderly patients with impaired kidney or heart function, those with diabetes, and those with severe hypertension, treatment should begin at low doses and be closely monitored. During treatment, it is essential to regularly check blood pressure, kidney function, and electrolyte levels to ensure there are no abnormalities. Caution is advised while driving or operating machinery as dizziness or drowsiness may occur. Some drugs may pose a risk when taken together; therefore, inform healthcare providers if you are taking any other medications.
