Inhibition of thrombus formation and reduction of cardiovascular risk in myocardial infarction and cerebral infarction
This medication helps facilitate blood circulation by inhibiting thrombus formation in conditions such as myocardial infarction, cerebral infarction, and unstable angina. It is also effective in preventing thrombus formation following coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) or percutaneous coronary intervention (PTCA). It is used to reduce cardiovascular risk in high-risk patients with multiple risk factors such as hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, and diabetes. Thus, it assists in the prevention and treatment of various cardiovascular diseases, improving health.
Enteric-coated tablet: 1 tablet once daily, taken before meals with sufficient water. Enteric-coated capsule: 1 capsule once daily, taken before meals with sufficient water.
This medication should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist before use by individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily. Excessive alcohol consumption may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding when taking this medication. This medication should not be taken by certain patients. For example, individuals allergic to this medication or similar drugs, those with peptic ulcers, those who have experienced asthma attacks due to aspirin, individuals with blood coagulation disorders, severe liver or kidney dysfunction, those with a tendency to bleed, pregnant women in their third trimester, etc., should avoid taking this medication. Furthermore, individuals with kidney or cardiovascular issues, a history of liver disease, asthmatic patients, those scheduled for surgery, children under three years, those with allergic histories, elderly individuals, and those taking anticoagulants should use this medication with caution. This medication contains the dye Yellow No. 5; therefore, those allergic to this ingredient should be careful. Rarely, serious allergic reactions or skin diseases, blood abnormalities, gastrointestinal bleeding, liver dysfunction, and kidney dysfunction may occur as side effects. If such symptoms arise, discontinue use immediately and consult medical personnel. Particularly, this medication should be used cautiously in children under 14 years infected with chickenpox or influenza, and their condition should be closely monitored post-administration. This medication is used for symptomatic relief of pain and fever, and regular blood and liver function tests are recommended for long-term use. In cases of acute symptoms, dose as needed based on the severity and avoid taking the same medication for an extended period. Children with high fever, elderly individuals, or patients with poor physical condition should be closely monitored after taking this medication. During treatment of inflammation caused by infections, this medication should be administered with appropriate antibiotic therapy and caution. This medication can increase the risk of bleeding, so particular caution should be taken regarding its use before and after surgery, and in case of overdose, immediate medical assistance is needed for symptoms of toxicity. This medication interacts with many other drugs; hence, particularly when taking it together with anticoagulants, antidiabetic medications, methotrexate, lithium preparations, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, etc., consult with a doctor. During pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, it is safest not to take this medication as it may pose risks to the fetus and mother. In breastfeeding cases, this medication may pass into breast milk, so lactating individuals should avoid taking it. Elderly patients have a higher risk of side effects, so starting with a low dose and monitoring the condition is prudent. This medication should be handled carefully to avoid damaging the enteric coating and should not be taken with specific alkalizing agents. Finally, store this medication out of reach of children and keep pharmaceuticals in their original containers to maintain quality.
