This medication contains the ingredient flurbiprofen and is primarily used for pain relief and inflammation reduction. It should not be used by individuals who have previously shown allergic reactions to flurbiprofen or similar medications. Especially, patients with a history of asthma attacks known as aspirin-induced asthma should avoid this medication. Bronchial asthma patients should be cautious as asthma attacks may occur while using this medication. When using this medication, allergic reactions such as redness, rash, itching, and burning sensation may occur; if these symptoms arise, use should be discontinued immediately. Also, if wheezing or difficulty in breathing occurs, it could signal an asthma attack, and use should be stopped, consulting a doctor immediately. This medication aids in symptom relief but does not treat the underlying cause of the disease, so other treatments appropriate to the symptoms should also be considered. If there is an infection on the skin, using this medication may worsen the infection, so it should be used in conjunction with antibiotics or antifungals as needed, and skin condition should be closely monitored. When using for chronic conditions like degenerative arthritis, other treatment methods should be combined, and adverse effects should be carefully observed. It is recommended not to use this medication during the early and mid-pregnancy unless necessary, using the minimal effective dose for the shortest duration. It should not be used in late pregnancy as it may harm the fetus and affect the birthing process. Safety has not been sufficiently established for children, so its use is not recommended. Elderly patients should be closely monitored as their skin may be more susceptible, and application sites should be observed carefully. Lastly, this medication should not be used on damaged skin, mucous membranes, areas with eczema or rash, and it is best to clean the sweat from the application area before applying.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication is sensitive to light, so it should be stored in a container that blocks light. Additionally, it is best to store it at a temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius. Proper storage will help maintain the medication's effectiveness and safety.
