This medication is used to treat infections caused by the herpes simplex virus, specifically initial and recurrent genital herpes and cold sores. How to apply

Adult use

This medication should be applied to the affected area 5 times a day at approximately 4-hour intervals. Treatment should continue for 5 days, and if not resolved after 5 days of use, it can be used for an additional 5 days.

Precautions

This medication is a topical formulation containing the ingredient Acyclovir. Firstly, it should not be used by individuals with hypersensitivity to this medication or those who are chemically intolerant, nursing women, and children.
