Precautions
This medication should not be taken by individuals who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or its ingredients. It is safest for pregnant or breastfeeding women to avoid this medication. Individuals with rare genetic disorders such as galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should also refrain from taking this medication. If gastrointestinal disturbances such as indigestion or diarrhea, skin hives or itching, rashes, or swelling of the face or extremities occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. If liver function worsens or if there is a sudden increase in weight, it is also essential to consult a specialist. Very rarely, liver damage has been reported; if symptoms related to liver health are suspected, such as jaundice, dark urine, abdominal pain, nausea, loss of appetite, or fatigue, discontinue use and visit a hospital. Overdosing on this medication may worsen side effects, so the dosage must be strictly followed, and consultation with a specialist is necessary if abnormal symptoms arise. It is also advisable to consult a doctor when experiencing menstrual irregularities or new symptoms. Co-administration with medications containing estrogen may enhance the estrogen effect of this medication, so it must be taken under the supervision of a specialist. Individuals with liver disease should use this medication with caution, as effects may require more than 2 weeks of use to appear, and long-term use beyond 6 months must be discussed with a specialist. Before taking this medication, individuals with a history of breast cancer or hormone-sensitive tumors should consult a doctor. If symptoms worsen during use or if other medications are being taken concurrently, it is crucial to consult a doctor or pharmacist. While there are no known drug interactions with this medication, it is recommended to inform a healthcare professional about any medications currently being taken for safety reasons.
