Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Chlorhexidine gluconate should be diluted for use according to the following concentrations: ① Disinfection of hands and skin (excluding disinfection of the surgeon's hands during surgery and skin at the surgical site): 0.1 - 0.5% aqueous solution. ② Disinfection of medical devices: 0.1 - 0.5% aqueous solution or 0.5% ethanol solution. ③ Disinfection of furniture, instruments, and skin wounds: 0.05% aqueous solution.
