How to take

Adult dose

For essential hypertension, the standard dose is 150 mg taken orally once a day using Irbesartan, which may be increased to 300 mg if the effect is insufficient. Precautions

This medication may cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn if used by pregnant women; therefore, it must be stopped immediately once pregnancy is confirmed. Patients with severe diabetes or impaired kidney function, as well as those with a history of angioedema, should exercise caution.
