This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus during pregnancy, so it must be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. Patients with allergic reactions to this medication, severe liver dysfunction, hereditary angioedema, women who may become pregnant, or those who are breastfeeding should not take it. During the use of this medication, serious side effects such as liver function abnormalities, angioedema, severe hypotension, renal failure, hypoglycemia, and rhabdomyolysis may occur, so any unusual symptoms should prompt immediate consultation with a physician. Interactions may occur with other antihypertensive medications, diuretics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), and lithium; therefore, it is essential to inform the healthcare provider of any co-administered medications. Caution is needed as dizziness or fatigue may occur while driving or operating machinery.
