Treatment of acute non-infectious conjunctivitis (edema, redness) and anterior segment inflammation (such as anterior uveitis) and inflammation post-surgery.
This medication is used for acute non-infectious conjunctivitis and allergic keratitis accompanied by severe edema and redness. It is also effective for non-infectious inflammation occurring in the anterior segment, such as anterior uveitis, episcleritis, and scleritis. It is used to treat inflammation that may occur after strabismus surgery, cataract surgery, and glaucoma surgery. In other words, it is a medication that helps treat various inflammatory diseases of the eye.
In adults, it can be instilled 1 drop every hour for the first 24-48 hours. Instill 1 drop into the conjunctival sac 2-3 times a day.
This medication should not be used by individuals allergic to certain ingredients, pregnant or nursing women, patients with infectious keratitis or conjunctivitis, patients with glaucoma, patients with dry eye, patients with corneal damage or viral and bacterial infections, and infants under 2 years of age. Additionally, caution is advised for patients with metabolic diseases such as cardiac disorders, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, patients taking certain medications, patients with a history of cataracts or herpes simplex infections, patients with allergic rhinitis, and for use in children or juveniles. This medication may cause temporary eye irritation, and prolonged use may result in increased intraocular pressure or eye redness, allergic reactions, cataracts, corneal damage, and secondary infections. In particular, children may experience systemic side effects such as headaches or insomnia, so caution is necessary. During treatment, wearing soft contact lenses should be avoided, and long-term use is discouraged. If used for more than 2-3 days, regular checks for intraocular pressure and assessments for systemic side effects are important. Moreover, if eye infections persist or worsen, fungal infections should be suspected, as this medication may mask or exacerbate infection symptoms, requiring caution. Instillation may cause temporary blurred vision, thus it is advised to refrain from driving or operating dangerous machinery until normal vision returns. This medication may increase the risk of side effects when used with other drugs that can raise blood pressure, so any concomitant use should be discussed with a doctor. The safety in children or adolescents has not been sufficiently confirmed; therefore, use should be particularly cautious, and in cases of overdose, serious symptoms may appear, necessitating immediate medical assistance. Shake the solution well before use, use it only for instillation, and take care not to let the tip of the container touch the eye. It is also important not to share with others and to maintain cleanliness. When storing, keep in a cool place out of direct sunlight and moisture, away from children's reach, and for quality maintenance, do not transfer to other containers.
Increased intraocular pressure with long-term use, secondary infections caused by fungi, herpes simplex infections, cataracts, corneal defects, infectious keratitis and conjunctivitis, corneal damage and corneal ulcers, severe allergic reactions (such as urticaria, severe swelling), cardiac disorders, central nervous system depression, elevated blood pressure, mydriasis, cyanosis, severe edema or urination abnormalities, severe allergic reactions (chest tightness, difficulty breathing), severe skin adverse reactions (fever and rash).

Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
